SUMMARY

Cliff Lodge is an amazing house located in the beautiful village of Maidencombe. The house itself boasts uninterrupted panoramic sea views from the stunning glass balconies situated around the house. The property has recently been refurbished to an exceptionally high standard which enhances the natural beauty of the surroundings. The house has something for everyone and is the perfect location for any sort of celebration or just a relaxing week with family or friends.

Location
Cliff Lodge is set in substantial and beautiful grounds in the heart of the the village of Maidencombe. Neighbouring Teignmouth and Shaldon are only a five minute drive away. Cliff Lodge is only three miles away from the centre of Torquay, St Marychurch and Babbacombe which are just 1.5 miles away. There are numerous beauty spots, pubs, restaurants and attractions all in close proximity to the house. Only a short walk from Cliff Lodge you’ll find The South West Coast path which follows the stunning coastline and beaches as far as you would wish to go.

Cliff Lodge sleeps up to twelve adults and if required there are two put up-beds which can be used for young children. There are also two travel cots provided. The styled bedrooms are all individually decorated with their own unique characteristics. Four bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and the two ground floor bedrooms have a shared bathroom. All bedding and linen is changed weekly and is of a high quality. Each bedroom has towels, bathrobes and toiletries provided.

Swimming Pool Complex
There is an indoor heated swimming pool (10 metres by 4 metres) complex that is close to the main house. This beautiful area also has an electric sauna and sun loungers to relax on. The pool house is surrounded by a decked area which has a sunken jacuzzi on one side and a large sundeck on the other. This whole area is surrounded by glass balconies which look directly across the sea.  A Sonos sound system is available to enhance the whole experience. A perfect place to relax and enjoy a drink or listen to music with friends and family.

Games room
Enjoy a game of snooker on our full size table while listening to a variety of music on the juke box. This spacious room has a bar area with a fridge and a 75″ Sony TV on the wall. Table football is located at the other end of the room.

Lower Ground Floor
Two king size bedrooms with a large, shared shower room . Both rooms have king size beds and plenty of extra space. There is a door leading onto the patio area, entertainment rooms and pool facilities.

Ground floor
One twin bedroom with an en-suite ‘Jack and Jill’ bathroom with access from the hallway and bedroom.

Lounges
One large lounge room with 65″ ‘Oled’ Sony TV and Sky Q.
One smaller snug style TV lounge with Sky Q .
A perfect space to relax, with balconies and sea views.

Dining Room
Furnished with a large wooden dining table which comfortably seats twelve guests for that special celebration or large family meal.

Kitchen
Cliff Lodge has a new purpose built fully equipped kitchen that sits back from the breakfast area and conservatory. There is a dishwasher, double oven, microwave, wine fridge, french style fridge freezer, induction hob, Kitchen Aid and other handy appliances.  You can kick start your morning using the ‘bean to cup’ coffee machine whilst sitting on the outside balconies enjoying the panoramic views across Torbay and Lime Bay.

Conservatory/ Breakfast room
Beautiful feature table that seats twelve to fourteen guests and again enjoys stunning panoramic views far away to the Jurassic coast. Sonos sound system is also available for you to enjoy in this area.

First Floor
The top floor of Cliff Lodge contains three bedrooms which boast the most spectacular sea views.

Bedroom One
King size master bedroom suite containing super king bed, ‘Oled’ Sony TV, Sonus sound system, large en-suite bathroom with large shower, jacuzzi bath and double sink vanity units. Large fitted wardrobes throughout. A decked balcony with possibly the best sea views Cliff Lodge has to offer.

Bedroom Two
Beautiful double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and shower which also has a decked balcony and direct sea views. Perfect for an early morning coffee.

Bedroom Three
A twin bedded room with en-suite shower room which is perfect for young adults or children.

Grounds
Cliff Lodge lies within 2 acres of landscaped gardens and a paddock which makes an excellent area for children to play in. At the bottom of the paddock there is a gate which gives direct access to the coastal path.

“Hired house for the weekend with family and friends. The house had everything we needed to chill out for the weekend, in fact due to serious virus outbreak in UK we did not leave the house. The house itself is amazing is amazing with three if the top bedrooms having a balcony to sit on to take in the fantastic views. Then only noise you hear is of the birds which makes it so relaxing. Our six grandchildren spent so much time in the pool or playing table tennis or snooker. There are some fantastic walks from the house, although quite testing but worth the effort. “So pleased we decided to stay at Cliff Lodge, to get family and friends together to celebrate my daughters 30th birthday. Ages ranged from 4 years to 71 years and everyone had an amazing time we decorated the bar in the games room as a cocktail bar and it was an ideal room especially with music from the juke box. The men played snooker, kids played table football while the girls sang along and danced the night away. Rest of the weekend was spent swimming, using the hot tub and sauna. We cooked a few times and the kitchen was very well stocked. Bedrooms were comfortable with lots of storage and views to die for. Lovely cosy conservatory,two sitting rooms and two dining rooms. So much for our entertainment”.
